We are so excited to welcome Maureen Colledge to our Podcast.
Maureen is a Christian nurse with a passion for maternal/child health. She started her career as a staff nurse in a NICU and soon after became a nursing instructor at the University of Windsor. After completing her master’s degree in nursing leadership, she began her work with Christian pregnancy care centres, first in Ontario and now in Kamloops, BC. Maureen currently works as the Executive Director at the Hopewell Clinic and Pregnancy Centre on Kamloops’ North Shore.
In this episode, Maureen and Chris talk about her journey into pregnancy care ministry. She shares about the amazing work that her and her team does to bring hope, friendship, and support to women and their partners who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. She brings clarity as to what they do and do not do, and dispels some myths about pregnancy care ministry.
